From 2024 open house

  Although  plants in my living room sprout from Dudley Harris's Beautiful Bowls and we eat salads, soups or pasta almost daily from other Beautiful Bowls, I can't resist going to Dudley and Cindy's annual open house and sale when all the proceeds go to TPR and PPSA. 

So once again this year I wandered the grounds of the Harris house, picked up and put down bowls from table after table wanting to buy but not doing so. Then like in the comic strips, a light bulb and with it a thought lit up in my mind. 

I carefully chose and bought nine Beautiful Bowls, not for me or my family, but one for each friend who comes to our January book club dinner. I'll make a pot of soup and each person can select a bowl, scoop the soup into her chosen bowl for dinner, then when the party/meeting is over take the bowl home with them. Not only will each person have a keepsake from the evening, but...there'll be no dishes left for me to wash!!
